Noklak Health Officials Set World Hepatitis Day Screening

Kohima: Noklak will host a public health event for World Hepatitis Day on July 28, 2026. The program starts at 10 am inside the Chief Medical Officer Conference Hall. Dr. Victor NC, the Chief Medical Officer, confirmed the department will provide free mass screenings and vaccinations for the community.

The event targets a specific group of attendees. CMO Noklak expects participation from all District Hospital staff, people living with HIV, and OST clients. The department also requests that food handlers, waste management crews, and the general public show up to take advantage of the medical services. Staff who received screenings for Hepatitis during the previous year are excluded from this round of testing.
