NNC/FGN Lotha Region Inducts Ten New Officials

Kohima: The NNC/FGN Lotha Region officially inducted 10 new Leacys during an executive meeting and oath-taking ceremony held on June 16 in Wokha. The new appointees represent nine distinct sub-regions within the area.

Hathungo Kithan, the Midan Peyu of the NNC/FGN Lotha Region, administered the oath of office and presented the official appointment orders to the new members. He tasked the inductees with performing their duties with complete integrity, sincerity, and dedication.

Kithan emphasized that the role requires selfless service rather than the pursuit of personal privilege. He urged the new officials to remain focused on the collective goals of the movement, stating they must be committed to "upholding and defending the sovereignty of Nagaland while working for the welfare and advancement of the Naga people."

The event concluded with a call for the new Leacys to promote honesty and sacrifice within their ranks. Kithan encouraged all participants to prioritize the broader cause, noting that the group should work toward "strengthening Naga unity, sovereignty and integration in pursuit of a lasting political solution."
