NEIAH Shillong Hiring for 21 Medical and Teaching Roles

Shillong: The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy in Shillong is looking for staff. They need 21 people for teaching and medical roles in 2026. The institute issued a call for applications to fill vacant posts ranging from professors to specialized physicians.

Nine professor positions are open, split between Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, and allied subjects. Applicants need a postgraduate degree, 13 years of experience, and a valid teacher code. Eight associate professor roles are also available. These require a postgraduate degree plus nine years of relevant experience.

The facility is also hiring for four clinical roles. They need an obstetrician and gynecologist, a surgical specialist, a pediatrician, and a radiologist. Candidates for these spots must have a postgraduate degree, registration with the Medical Council of India or a state council, and seven years of experience. The institute stated, "Applications in prescribed format completed in all respects enclosing self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, Caste/Community/Persons with disabilities (PWD)/EWS issued by Competent authority of Central/State Govt., Council Registration, Teacher’s Code along with non-refundable application fee as applicable with two recent passport size photograph should reach by Registered / Speed post to The Director, North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), MAWDIANGDIANG, SHILLONG, MEGHALAYA - 793018."

Applicants must pay a fee via demand draft. General and OBC candidates pay 1,400 rupees. SC, ST, and EWS candidates pay 700 rupees. The final deadline is August 17, 2026. Send your paperwork by registered or speed post to the director in Shillong.
