ENDBU Calls for Peace Amid Tikhir and Yimkiung Violence

Kohima: The Eastern Nagaland Dobashi's Union issued a plea for peace on October 13, 2026. The group wants an end to the ongoing violence between the Tikhir and Yimkiung communities. Lives are being lost. The union expressed deep grief over the repeated clashes despite public desire for stability.

General Secretary Ngoubangsomba and President Imkong Phom signed the statement in Dimapur on October 14. They urged mothers, fathers, youth, and leaders to abandon aggression immediately. The union believes only collective wisdom can secure a shared future.

Violence must stop. The organization highlighted the pointlessness of the current conflict in a direct appeal to the people: "Let us face the heard truth that 'Violence offers no Solution'. It does not bring justice. It only breeds suffering and bitterness. There is no victory in a grieving land."

The group called for collective prayers to settle the unrest. They demand a shift toward mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence to stop the cycle of bitterness.
