Nagaland Jobs 2026: NPSC Stenographer and University Research Openings

Kohima: The Nagaland Public Service Commission is hiring 26 Stenographers for Grade-III positions. Candidates need a graduation degree, a six-month computer diploma, and one year of shorthand training at 80 words per minute. Selected staff will receive a salary between Rs. 28,700 and Rs. 91,300 under Pay Level-8. Applicants must be between 21 and 32 years old. Separately, Nagaland University seeks a Project Associate-I for the Department of Environmental Science. This role supports a research project titled, “Effects of future climate and land use changes on Loktak Lake, Northeast India.” Applicants require a postgraduate degree in science and NET certification. Knowledge of hydrological modeling, remote sensing, and GIS is preferred. The position offers monthly emoluments of Rs. 37,000 plus HRA.
