Kohima: Nagaland has officially mandated that all village households must sort their waste into four distinct categories. Residents are required to separate refuse into wet, dry, sanitary, and hazardous streams to streamline the collection process.
To assist with this new policy, the government is requiring the use of specific color-coded bins and bags for each type of waste. This initiative aims to improve household waste management practices across the state.
