Kohima: The Naga Students' Union (DNSU) has officially reiterated its firm opposition to the implementation of compulsory Sanskrit learning. Representatives from the student organization addressed the media during a press conference held in Dimapur on June 2 to clarify their stance on the educational policy.

By speaking out, the union members signaled their continued rejection of proposals that would mandate the language in schools. The organization remains focused on protecting the interests of students while advocating for local educational autonomy.
