Shillong: Authorities in Meghalaya have moved to assure residents that the supply of essential petroleum products, including petrol, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas, remains stable and sufficient. The State Level Coordinator for the Oil Industry in Meghalaya, speaking on behalf of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, confirmed that fuel availability across the state is normal.

Official reports indicate that the entire distribution network, comprising terminals, depots, and retail outlets, is operating smoothly without any disruptions. Oil companies are actively monitoring stock levels and managing regular replenishment operations to guarantee uninterrupted supply across all locations. Industry representatives emphasized that LPG distribution for domestic consumers remains a top priority, with consistent deliveries continuing throughout the region.
