Loktak Development Authority Issues Warning Over Hiring Scam

Imphal: The Loktak Development Authority in Manipur is sounding the alarm. Someone is shaking people down for cash. These scammers promise jobs or post regularizations in exchange for money. They are lying. The Authority clarified that no such hiring process exists right now.

Project Director of the LDA issued a firm statement regarding the illicit activity. The organization has neither demanded nor accepted any payments for recruitment or appointments. Any person or agency claiming to facilitate these roles for a fee is acting without authorization. These claims are entirely fraudulent.

The LDA issued a blunt directive to the public: "The Authority said it has neither demanded nor received money from anyone for recruitment or appointment." Do not fall for these fake communications or unofficial offers. Protect your wallet. Stay vigilant.

Anyone with information about these extortion attempts must act fast. Report the activity to your nearest police station immediately. You can also contact the Project Director of the LDA directly to verify claims and trigger legal proceedings. Do not let these criminals thrive.
