Kohima: Jubilee Memorial College in Mokokchung marked its 11th Foundation Day on Monday during a ceremony attended by students, faculty, alumni, and supporters. The event celebrated over a decade of providing higher education and reaffirmed the institution's ongoing commitment to academic quality and holistic development.
The program featured a variety of presentations, including a musical performance by first-semester student Sentijungla Imchen and opening prayers led by college counselor Yimnayangner Aier. During the event, Internal Quality Assurance Cell coordinator Mulato Keny and alumnus Medemren Longchar shared reflections on the college's history while urging current students to strive for excellence.
A central feature of the celebration was the unveiling of Sapentia 2026. This latest edition of the college magazine showcases academic, literary, and creative works from both students and staff. To conclude the event, Rev. Dr. Ponen Longchar, Senior Pastor of MTBA, led a dedicatory prayer and spoke of the institution's mission, asking for "God's continued guidance, wisdom and blessings upon the institution."
