Guwahati: Performers brought a masterpiece to life. The Natghar at Batadrava Than hosted a staging of Patni Prasad on October 29. Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva wrote the piece. It is his first Ankiya Naat.
The Sattramandali organized the event. The night served as a memorial for the late Bhuvaneshwari Aai, the former Adhikarini of the Shalguri Satra. Noted artiste Ranjit Mahanta directed the production. Local devotees and young performers took the stage.
The play explores the divine leelas of Lord Krishna. It tackles themes of ego and faith. The production highlights the contrast between karma and bhakti, acting as a guide for modern society.
