Agartala: Top BJP and Tipra Motha leaders touched down in New Delhi to settle a growing feud. Their coalition is cracking. Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and BJP state president Abhishek Debroy lead the party delegation. Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarman arrived with his own team of senior officials.

Tensions boiled over during the recent TTAADC elections. Both parties ran separate campaigns, turning into bitter rivals. That race left scars. The fighting stalled as the Village Committee elections loomed, forcing both sides to look at the clock. The 2028 Assembly elections are now less than two years away.

BJP insiders claim the central leadership wants this fixed fast. Most figures on both sides hope to smooth over the drama to save the ruling alliance. One party source noted the urgency of the situation, stating, "A majority of leaders in both the BJP and Tipra Motha are also keen to settle the issues in the larger interest of the ruling alliance." The group aims to clear the air before the political stakes climb higher.
