Kohima: Assam Rifles provided administrative support for a blood donation drive held at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima on June 14. The event coincided with World Blood Donor Day and focused on the theme, "One Drop of Humanity, Give Blood, Save Lives."
The Kohima District Planning and Development Board organised the camp in collaboration with the Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Nagaland. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness regarding the life-saving impact of voluntary blood donation.
To assist with the event, Assam Rifles contributed five bedding sets to ensure the comfort of those donating. Additionally, the unit's Pipe Band performed for attendees to mark the occasion.
