Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed plans to scale up the state's network of Model Anganwadi Centres. These facilities aim to provide children with better nutrition, healthcare, and early education. The state wants better infrastructure for kids.

Government officials have already built more than 3,800 of these centers across Assam. The project seeks to turn standard units into active learning spaces for toddlers. Sarma views the work as a priority for the state's future. He shared his thoughts on social media while highlighting the push for improved facilities.

"For my little bhagins, only the very best," Sarma said. The government expects to open more centers soon. These upgrades focus on giving children a sturdy foundation for their future growth. Officials believe this work will modernize how the state delivers care to its youngest residents.
