Guwahati: Assam Police Special Task Force agents netted a massive haul of narcotics today. They seized 10 kilograms of heroin valued at 88 crore rupees. The drugs were stashed inside a bag kept in an almirah. This happened at a flat in Om Residency, Chachal. It sits in the Six Mile area of Guwahati.

Officers moved in based on specific intelligence tips. They arrested Hardeep Singh at the scene. He is currently the only suspect in custody. The force confirmed the drug recovery in a recent statement: "The seized contraband has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway to trace the source of the heroin and identify other members of the suspected drug trafficking network."

Detectives are hunting for the rest of the gang. They want to know where the shipment originated. The case remains wide open.
