The young athlete serves as captain of the Under-14 Arunachal Pradesh Schools team. He usually works as a number 10 midfielder for that squad.

His club reached the Singa Cup after winning the North-East Zone title in the CBSE football tournament. Megam previously proved his worth during regional competition. He scored a goal in a penalty shootout to seal a victory for his team. His brother also earned recognition from the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association for his own work on the field. The state body lauded the pair for representing Arunachal Pradesh at regional and national levels. Of his career path, observers note that "Megam's goal at the Singa Cup marks an important milestone in his budding football career as he continues to represent India at the international youth level."
