Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu wants the public to watch the FIFA World Cup final with him. He is hosting a free screening at IG Park in Itanagar on the night of July 19. The title match pits Spain against Argentina.
The event takes place at the CM Fan Park. Fans should arrive early for the festivities. "I warmly invite all football lovers, families, and friends to join me at CM Fan Park for the LIVE Screening of the FIFA World Cup Final 2026," the Chief Minister said on social media.
Entertainment starts at 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 19. The match kicks off at 12:30 AM on July 20. The pre-match show includes live performances from winners of Arunachal Idol, Arunachal's Got Talent, Super Dancer, Mr Arunachal, and Miss Arunachal. High-energy DJ sets will also fill the air. The final itself is being played in New Jersey, near New York City.
