Arunachal Minister Reviews Development Progress in Shi-Yomi

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona held a high-stakes review meeting with senior district officials in Tato on Saturday, August 1. He scrutinized ongoing development projects and the current state of public service delivery across the remote border region. Progress remains the priority. The meeting brought together heads of every major government department to evaluate performance in sectors like education, healthcare, rural development, road connectivity, power supply, drinking water, agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, urban development, hydropower, policing, and civil supplies.

Sona pushed department heads to identify operational bottlenecks and sharpen inter-departmental coordination to hit targets for flagship welfare schemes. The session specifically targeted the education sector, checking academic outcomes and current infrastructure projects against long-term goals for local human capital. Officials must act now. The minister demanded a proactive, accountable, and result-oriented strategy for every government program.

Sona emphasized the need for consistent progress. "Our collective commitment must be to ensure that every development initiative translates into tangible benefits at the grassroots level for the people of Shi-Yomi," the minister posted on social media. The state government remains focused on effective last-mile delivery for all public services and welfare initiatives in the area.
