Anti-Narcotics Task Force Raids Lum Survey Drug Den

Shillong: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force and Cantonment Police raided a residence in Lum Survey on Friday afternoon. They arrested one suspect. Officers seized 44 vials of suspected drugs weighing 5.55 grams during the search.

Police found more than 1,000 empty vials and tubes tucked into plastic bags. These items appear destined for packaging narcotics. Local residents watched as police carried out the operation.

Authorities also detained four other people. These individuals arrived at the scene looking for a supplier. Under questioning, the group admitted to past transactions. They stated they had previously purchased drugs for "Rs 3,000 per vial."
