Agartala: Tripura University hosts a slate of events this October 2 to celebrate its foundation day. The school celebrates 37 years of operation. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha joins the festivities as the chief guest. Chancellor Ahmed Javed presides over the ceremony.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Debabrata Das organized the day. He wants to highlight research, environmental work, and academic partnerships. The university holds a tree plantation and a cleanliness drive. Staff will also pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi before the national flag goes up.
The administration plans to ink several memoranda of understanding with educational and professional outfits. These deals aim to boost research and institutional exchange. As Vice-Chancellor Das noted, the administration is "focusing on academic development, research, environmental awareness and institutional collaboration."
Teachers and staff receive honors for their contributions to the school. A cultural program follows the official business. Students, researchers, and employees will attend. The event draws representatives from across the academic sector to foster future projects.
