Agartala: A group representing returnees in Tripura plans to launch an indefinite blockade beginning June 5. The action aims to pressure the state government into addressing long standing demands regarding their rehabilitation.

Organizers stated that the demonstration is a direct response to the lack of progress on assistance packages promised to displaced individuals. By staging the blockade, the group hopes to secure immediate attention from officials and force a resolution to their ongoing resettlement challenges.
