They hashed out current stock levels and market fluctuations. Prices matter. The minister demanded a team effort between the government and traders to stop unnecessary spikes in cost.
Chowdhury highlighted the state's duty to the public. He said, "The government remains committed to protecting the interests of consumers by ensuring a steady supply of essential goods at fair and affordable prices."
Authorities reviewed existing plans to keep the markets stable. They intend to keep goods moving and available for every resident in Tripura.

Chowdhury also sat down with representatives from Indian Oil Corporation Limited and the Tripura Petroleum Dealers Association to target the state's fuel supply. The talk centered on keeping gas and oil moving without interruption.
The minister pushed for a tighter grip on the logistics chain, specifically calling for a better system to truck fuel from the new Sekerkote depot to districts across the state. Officials spent the session picking apart potential bottlenecks in the distribution network to keep the pumps running.
