Agartala: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu hosted 27 newly recruited Tripura Civil Service officers at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. The 11 a.m. meeting focused on the probationers currently completing their foundational training at the State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development.
Top officials joined the event. Secretary to the Governor Apurba Roy, the Secretary of General Administration, the ADC to the Governor, and Dr. Elizabeth from SIPARD attended. The new hires come from diverse fields. They hold degrees in engineering, science, humanities, agriculture, and law. Nallu believes this expertise will bolster the state administration.
The officers shared stories about their field work. They discussed grassroots interactions and institutional sessions. Nallu pushed the group to prioritize transparency and empathy in their roles. He told the officers, "The effectiveness of welfare schemes depends on their reach to remote corners of Tripura."
He challenged the group to use new technology to improve service delivery. The Governor emphasized that these officers must act as a vital bridge between the government and the people. The probationers discussed their goals for future postings and their dedication to rural growth. The day ended with a group photo and tea as faculty offered final words of support.
