Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated 15 development projects in the Dhalai district on June 16, reinforcing the government's commitment to uplifting remote and underdeveloped areas. Among the new infrastructure is a two-storey building for Halahali Class XII School, which serves as part of a broader strategy to improve learning outcomes in aspirational blocks.

Dr. Saha emphasized that these initiatives align with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focusing on modernized classrooms and targeted student support. The government is currently working to establish 21 Eklavya Model Residential Schools to expand high-quality educational opportunities for tribal students. During the virtual address, the Chief Minister said, "The government is committed to improving the socio-economic condition of people living in remote and backward areas through targeted development initiatives."

Public healthcare has also seen significant progress through the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. These programs aim to guarantee medical access for citizens throughout the state. Alongside healthcare, the administration continues to roll out welfare schemes including PM-Kisan, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and PM-JANMAN to reach diverse sections of society.

The Chief Minister also noted the success of women's empowerment efforts, citing the formation of 55,000 self-help groups. With over five lakh women now participating, these groups are playing a critical role in fostering financial independence and community development. These combined infrastructure and social projects represent a push for inclusive growth throughout Tripura.
