Agartala: Youth Tipra Federation members hit West Agartala Police Station to file a formal complaint. They want strict legal action against Sanjib Debbarma for spewing hate online. The suspect allegedly used Facebook to spread abusive and provocative remarks about the Tipra Motha Party founder and royal scion, Pradyot Bikram Kishore Manikya Debbarma.

Sepahijala District President Babulu Debbarma and West District Vice-President Adarsh Debbarma led the group filing the report. The complainants claim these acts are not simple expressions of opinion. They say the posts were intended to provoke hostility and stir up social tension across the region.

"While they support freedom of expression, repeated use of abusive and derogatory language against a respected public figure has caused deep hurt and resentment among members of the indigenous community and supporters of the Tipra Motha founder," the group stated in the filing. The federation members warned that this behavior threatens public peace.

Police must now register an FIR and dig into the digital footprint. The YTF leaders offered full cooperation. They are ready to hand over screenshots, web links, and other electronic evidence to support an official investigation into the malicious posts.
