Guwahati: Tezpur University officials discovered Jyotisman Boruah dead inside his Lachit Hostel room on Wednesday. Boruah, a fifth-semester student enrolled in the Integrated M.Sc. Chemistry programme, died in an apparent suicide. The campus remains in shock. Authorities confirmed the death, yet the specific circumstances behind the incident are currently unknown.
