Tezpur University Wraps Up STRATEGIA 2026 Management Fest

Guwahati: Tezpur University's Department of Business Administration finished its two-day management fest, STRATEGIA 2026, on August 28. Held under the SAMPARK industry-academia banner, the event pulled in 137 entries from schools including IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Guwahati, and Cotton University. Twelve teams qualified for the final round in both the Business Pitch and Case Study categories after an online screening.

Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Amarendra Kumar Das opened the event. Department Head Professor Arup Roy confirmed the fest will return annually. He told students that, "entrepreneurship requires initiative, effective implementation and the willingness to take calculated risks."

The prize pool totaled Rs 1 lakh. Team KeepFresh of Tezpur University claimed the top spot in the Business Pitch event, earning Rs 30,000. Team Laundry Link from the Assam Institute of Management took second with Rs 20,000, and Team Bael Tea from Tezpur University finished third for Rs 10,000. In the Case Study category, Team Visioneers from Tezpur University won Rs 25,000, while Team RAVEN of Assam Kaziranga University took Rs 15,000.

NEDFi and The Nook by The Padum co-powered the event. NRL Ideation partnered with the university, and the Assam Startup and Innovation Foundation served as the ecosystem partner. Faculty, NEDFi officials, and alumnus Ritvik Bhattacharya judged the competitions. The fest closed with cultural performances.
