Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang celebrated seven years of governance on Wednesday as his party, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), marked a major milestone. Since first assuming office on May 27, 2019, the administration has navigated the state through various adversities and natural disasters.

In a public message shared on Facebook, Tamang expressed his deep gratitude to the people of Sikkim for their trust and cooperation. He extended his appreciation to government employees, party workers, business leaders, social organizations, farmers, and youth for their collective contributions over the last seven years.

The Chief Minister credited the unity and resilience of the local population for allowing the state to move forward despite significant difficulties. He emphasized that these combined efforts have been the driving force behind the government's ability to overcome obstacles since it ended the 25-year rule of the Sikkim Democratic Front in 2019.

Looking ahead, Tamang reaffirmed his commitment to the state. He pledged that his administration would continue to work toward peace, prosperity, and inclusive growth to ensure a brighter future for all residents of Sikkim.
