Guwahati: Jorhat residents swarmed a property on Rodali Path in Bohotia Gaon after discovering an alleged sex racket. Locals confronted several young men and women at the scene before alerting authorities. Chaos erupted. When police arrived, they detained three young women and one young man for questioning.
Several other suspects fled into the neighborhood before officers could secure the area. Investigators are now working to determine if this operation was an organized sex trafficking ring or a localized prostitution scheme. "Police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the incident," according to reports on the scene.
