Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh is getting two new colleges. The Ramakrishna Mission plans to open campuses in Aalo and Narottam Nagar to boost higher education across the state. These sites sit in the West Siang and Tirap districts.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu confirmed the plan after meeting with a delegation from the mission. Swami Bodhasarananda, the group’s Assistant General Secretary, led the talks. Khandu shared the news on social media following their sit-down.

"We had a fruitful discussion with a delegation from the Ramakrishna Mission led by Revered Swami Bodhasarananda Ji. The meeting focused on the establishment of Institutes of Higher Education at Aalo and Narottam Nagar, which will mark a significant step towards expanding quality higher education opportunities in Arunachal Pradesh," the chief minister said.

The mission has a long history of running schools and social programs in the state. Khandu hopes the new schools will turn out students who are skilled and responsible. His office promises to keep partnering with reputable groups to improve local infrastructure.
