Shillong: The Rabindranath Tagore Club kicked off the 16th Inter-Shillong Cultural Event this Sunday. Crowds gathered at the Laban Bengalee Boys Higher Secondary School in Shillong to watch the opening acts. Performers took the stage to showcase their skills.
The event started with competitive rounds of Rabindra Sangeet and folk songs. The organizers kept the schedule tight. Dance competitions featuring both Tagore songs and folk music will follow at the same venue on July 26.
