Shillong: Students swarmed the Laban Bengalee Boys Higher Secondary School in Shillong this Saturday. They gathered for an art competition hosted by the Rabindranath Tagore Club. This marks the start of the 16th Inter Shillong Cultural Event 2026. The day moved fast. Kids also tackled essay writing and quiz challenges.
The club keeps the momentum going through the weekend. Sunday features English and Bengali recitation contests. Organizers have more on the schedule. Fun games and a dance on Hindi song competition take over the venue on August 9.
