Guwahati: Dima Hasao police arrested two women for drug trafficking on June 6 after a targeted operation at the New Haflong Railway Station. Officers intercepted the suspects shortly after they arrived on a train from Silchar, acting on a tip-off regarding the transport of narcotics.

During the search, police discovered 117.92 grams of heroin hidden within 10 plastic soap cases. Officials estimated the street value of the confiscated drugs at Rs 1 crore. Along with the heroin, police seized two mobile phones as part of the investigation.
