Guwahati: Officers found the body of 58-year-old Binod Barman in the Baganshali area of Kokrajhar on Wednesday morning, September 30. He suffered severe injuries. Police suspect foul play.
Barman, the son of Daya Barman, lived in Chamta under the Belshor Police Station in Nalbari district. Investigators now face a mystery. They must figure out how he arrived in Kokrajhar and why he ended up in Baganshali.
Police have not pinned down a motive or a timeline. However, they believe a woman might have played a role in the killing. A spokesperson stated, "Police suspect that a woman may have been involved in the killing."
