The conference focused heavily on the preservation of Monpa traditions, language, and indigenous knowledge systems.

Delegates emphasized the need to balance modern development with cultural heritage. The discussion underscored the importance of keeping younger generations connected to their roots while navigating a changing society. The organization plays a vital role in addressing social issues and fostering unity. Reflecting on the organization's significance, participants highlighted the importance of "strengthening institutions dedicated to protecting and promoting Monpa traditions, language, customs and indigenous knowledge systems." The new leadership will now focus on addressing emerging challenges across the Himalayan region.
