Kohima: Phekmi Welfare Union Kohima (PWUK) officials met with MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu on July 18. They gathered in Kohima to congratulate him on his recent appointment as advisor for the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Nagaland. Union president Shevoduyi Venuh led the delegation during the visit.
The group offered best wishes for his work in advancing the state through new technologies. Nienu told the visitors that science and technology demand higher priority in government. He noted that, "technological advancement is driving development across the world."
The legislator also spoke on personal values. He challenged the PWUK members to stay devoted to God and prioritize honesty as the base for building a prosperous society. During the session, the union briefed Nienu on their current plan to build a new community facility in Kohima.
