Kohima: Members of the Phekmi Welfare Union Kohima visited MLA Kuzholuzo Azo Nienu on July 18. The delegation, headed by president Shevoduyi Venuh, honored Nienu for his recent appointment as Advisor for the Department of Science and Technology in the Government of Nagaland. They want him to succeed in moving the state forward through tech.
Nienu spoke with the group about his vision. He told the delegation, "technological advancement is driving development across the world." He believes the department deserves more focus. Beyond policy, Nienu advised the union members to stick to their faith and keep honesty at the core of their society.
The union also brought a specific project to the table. They discussed plans to build a new community facility in Kohima.
