Nyishi Elite Society Donates 5 Lakh for Arunachal Flood Relief

Itanagar: The Nyishi Elite Society handed over 5 lakh rupees on Tuesday, July 14. They sent the cash to help families struggling after flash floods hit Hoj-Dakte villages in the Toru Circle of Arunachal Pradesh. The Papum Pare district administration took the funds to bolster local relief efforts.

General Secretary Nabam Takar led the delegation. He met with Deputy Commissioner Lobsang Tsering to deliver the donation. The Society stands with the locals. "Reaffirmed the Society's commitment to standing with both the administration and the people during times of crisis," Takar said during the handover.

Tsering thanked the group for the money. He promised to spend the funds with care. Every cent will go toward the rehabilitation of the displaced villagers. Local officials praised the society for stepping up when the community needed help the most.
