NSCN-K Mourns Death of Senior Official Shiwoto Yeptho

Kohima: The NSCN-K (Khango-Vusshe) confirmed the death of Kilonser Shiwoto Yeptho on August 29. A formal statement from the Ministry of Information and Publicity reached Dimapur on August 31.

Yeptho hailed from Luhezhe village in the Niuland district. He signed up for Naga national service in 2001, starting as a regional worker. He climbed the ranks steadily. He eventually served as a Kilonser, or Minister, with significant sincerity and dedication.

The group described his passing as the "end of an era" and an immense loss to the people and the Naga national movement. Leadership credited Yeptho for his bravery while fighting injustice. He worked tirelessly to advance the dignity and rights of the Naga people.

The outfit sent condolences to his comrades, colleagues, and family. They prayed for his soul to find eternal peace. His legacy remains a guide for future generations.
