WENN Bazaar 2026 Hits Record Sales of Rs 1.14 Crore

Kohima: The fifth WENN Bazaar wrapped up at Agri Expo in Chümoukedima with a record-breaking performance. The event pulled in consolidated sales of Rs 1,14,35,829 between October 15 and 17. Over 13,000 visitors packed the venue to support 167 women-led enterprises representing every district in the state.

Organized by the Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland, the bazaar operated under the theme One Nagaland, One Marketplace: Women Entrepreneurs from Every District. The impact went beyond direct sales. The group confirmed the massive scale of the event in a recent statement. "The event generated over 1,500 employment opportunities," WENN said.

The three-day gathering prioritized business-to-business trade to spark long-term growth. Entrepreneurs connected with buyers to secure bulk orders and distribution deals that extend past the event. Ten workshops focused on leadership, innovation, and marketing gave business owners practical tools for sustainability.

The event relied on support from several government and corporate partners. Key sponsors included the Department of Industries and Commerce, Department of Women Resource Development, and the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission. Other backers were the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd., Ministry of Textiles, Apex JK Motors, Okusa Toyota, Progressive Motors, State Bank of India, India Post, and Titan World. Official partners included the Department of Agriculture, Symbios, Action Power Line, MeanMachine, Synergy Group, Akashvani Kohima, Kaki Marketing, and Nagaland Post.
