Vanlalzuala Chenkual, the PWD Chief Engineer for planning and an empowered officer for the Mizoram Rural Road Development Agency, led the session. David Sapzova, the PWD Engineer-in-Chief and MiRRDA Chief Executive Officer, confirmed the tendering process for these 45 roads begins in November. Work starts soon.

Sapzova ordered his staff to finish all pending construction jobs immediately. He also demanded better upkeep for existing roads. Regarding the upcoming phase, Sapzova stated that "the department’s work was directly linked to public welfare and rural connectivity." The project aims to patch up gaps in the state infrastructure and link isolated rural zones.
