NPGN/NNC Warns Public Over Illegal Tax Extortion in Dimapur

Kohima: The NPGN/NNC (N-A) issued a stern warning today regarding illegal tax collection schemes operating across Dimapur, Chümoukidema, and Jornapani. Officials identified a man named Kito Sumi as the primary suspect behind the unauthorized demands.

The group’s Ministry of Information and Publicity stated Kito Sumi holds no position within their ranks. He is a total stranger to the organization. "Kito Sumi was not a member of the organisation and that no such person exists within its ranks," the group clarified. They accused him of running these scams to smear the government's reputation.

Business owners, department heads, and all residents should stop dealing with him immediately. The NPGN/NNC says anyone who ignores this order and continues to work with Sumi does so at their own risk.
