New Community Facility Ekta Bhawan Inaugurated at Yazali Police Station

Itanagar: A new community interaction facility, known as Ekta Bhawan, was officially inaugurated on May 14 at the Yazali Police Station in the Keyi Panyor district of Arunachal Pradesh. The ceremony brought together district officials, police personnel, local representatives, and community members to mark the start of this new initiative.

The event featured a formal plaque unveiling, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a plantation drive held within the police station premises. Notable attendees included Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti, Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta, and Zilla Parishad Chairperson Nabam Piju.

Speaking at the gathering, Officer-in-Charge and IPS probationer Anurag Chopra highlighted that the facility is designed to serve as a dedicated space for engagement between law enforcement and the local population. Discussions throughout the day focused on strengthening public trust, increasing community participation, and improving coordination to better address local concerns and maintain regional security. The program concluded with an open interaction session followed by refreshments.
