Shillong: The Indian Radiological and Imaging Association honored Dr. C Daniala on Saturday. The NEIGRIHMS Radiology department head received a Certificate of Honour in Shillong. The award coincided with Teachers Day 2026.
IRIA leaders recognized Daniala for his work as a mentor and teacher. He shapes professional careers in radiodiagnosis. IRIA president Dr. Sandeep Kavthale and secretary general Dr. Pankaj Sharma signed the document. It celebrates his guidance of students.
Daniala maintains a heavy load in medical education. He serves as both a postgraduate teacher and an MD Radiodiagnosis examiner. He also boasts a strong history of leadership. He led the Meghalaya State Indian Medical Association and served as President of the IRIA Meghalaya State Chapter in 2025.
The association highlighted his contribution to the field. Officials noted the award marks his status as an "exemplary teacher and mentor."
