Joshi serves as the Principal Investigator for the project, which aims for the "Characterization and identification of pharmaceutically active compounds in fermented bamboo shoots of North East India, their bioactivity evaluation, microbiological profile and scientific validation of its anticarcinogenic role."
Applicants require a B.Sc in Life Sciences. You also need experience in a microbiology lab and microbial culture handling. The stipend follows the project norms of the funding agency.
