Kohima: The Department of Horticulture in Nagaland has officially entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding to advance the state's agricultural landscape. By partnering with Natural Fuel India, based in Chumoukedima, and the Gujarat-based Sathwaro Farming Group, the government aims to cultivate a sustainable horticulture value chain through a collaborative Public-Private Partnership model.

Formalized at the office of the Commissioner and Secretary for the Horticulture Department in Kohima, this initiative focuses on expanding pineapple cultivation clusters across the region. Furthermore, the collaboration will prioritize the production of high-value crops such as litchi, kiwi, rambutan, and various spices to diversify the agricultural output of the state.
