Guwahati: Juria Police arrested three men in Assam’s Nagaon district for running a motorcycle theft racket. Officers identified the suspects as Muksidur Rahman, Safir Uddin, and Bina Ahmed. The men are now in custody.
Police tracked the suspects to various sites within the Juria jurisdiction. They recovered five stolen bikes hidden at secret locations during the raids. Detectives believe the group operated for a long time before this bust.
The suspects currently face intense questioning. Investigators are digging for more leads to find other gang members. Officials noted the active nature of the theft ring, stating that "the trio was allegedly involved in a motorcycle theft racket that had been active in the area for a long time." Work continues to track down the full scope of their criminal activity.
