Kohima: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav wants results. He met with the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) at Lok Bhavan this Tuesday to demand better execution of state programs. He told officials they need to reach more entrepreneurs and youth to drive real growth.
The Governor pushed for better coordination between stakeholders. He wants to cut red tape to help businesses thrive. The goal is to build sustainable jobs and attract new money into the state. IDAN officials mapped out their current work during the session.
The agency handles everything from investment promotion to the Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission. They also manage the Swavalamban Connect Kendra and the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre. Staff presented a roadmap to tackle ongoing challenges and improve how they pitch the state to investors.
The Governor reviewed the progress of these projects. A press release from the PRO Lok Bhavan stated that the Governor "appreciated IDAN's efforts in promoting investment, entrepreneurship, skill development and innovation in Nagaland." The meeting wrapped up with a firm focus on fixing bottlenecks to move the state agenda forward.
