MP Tai Tagak pledges aid for Ziro children's home

Itanagar: Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak dropped by the Mothers Home-cum-Achukuru Children's Home in Ziro to pledge state support for the facility. He met with the children and hailed founder Talyang Shanti for her tireless work with vulnerable youth.

The visit brought immediate relief to the home. Tagak donated Rs 1 lakh in cash and handed out blankets, mattresses, and fruit to the residents. He wants to help the NGO succeed.

Access is a major hurdle. The MP vowed to fix local road connectivity to help the home operate better. He told staff, "I would make efforts to address the road connectivity issues affecting the children's home." Tagak remains focused on getting the facility the government backing it needs to keep growing.
