MP Tai Tagak Denies Claims of Chinese Incursions in Arunachal

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh MP Tai Tagak shut down rumors of new Chinese military camps in the Taksing sector. Viral social media posts alleging fresh incursions are fake. These reports rely on old, edited footage. Tagak wants the public to stop sharing unverified claims that stir up trouble in border regions.

The border dispute between India and China remains a long-standing issue of perception. Both sides hold different views on the actual alignment, specifically in areas affected by the 1962 conflict. Tagak noted that these ongoing disagreements do not signal a recent land grab by Chinese forces.

Officials will launch a full ground survey after the monsoon rains finish. This verification push aims to clear up confusion and get the hard facts on the ground. The MP remains firm on national security. "Not a single inch of Indian territory would be allowed to be encroached upon," Tagak said.

The government stands ready to act if any real intrusion occurs. Tagak, who took his seat in the Rajya Sabha this June, stressed that protecting the border is the top priority for the state and the country.
